Closed Loop IPA (Town Collab)

7.5% ABV, 473ml can

A couple of months back we took a drive down the 401 to brew up something special with our good friends at Town Brewing. The resulting beer - Symbiosis IPA - was a beautiful mash up between Town’s Astro Ever After IPA and our Oats & Cream IPA. Oats, lactose, copious amounts of mosaic hops. It was creamy and dreamy.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago when we welcomed some of the fine folks from Town to Kingston for a brew day. For our half of this collaboration, we decided to ‘close the loop’ by mixing up these two favourite beers in a different way. Closed Loop IPA (7.5% ABV) was brewed with a base built around Astro Ever After, but dry-hopped with heavy doses of our favourite Oats & Cream hops, Nelson Sauvin & Citra. No lactose. It’s easy drinking and smooth, with big notes of peach, apricot and mango.
